IP River Ltd ("IP River", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England & Wales (company no. 07729747), registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, and registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under reference ZB407164.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Questions? Email sales@ipriver.net.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, request access or contact us through a form on this site, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, business email, telephone number, company name and the content of your enquiry. As you browse, our hosting and security systems also process limited technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs, and we use analytics (see “Cookies” below).
How and why we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, provide and manage our services, maintain our partner and customer relationships, keep the platform secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Our lawful bases
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating IP River; performance of a contract where we provide services to you or your organisation; consent where you have given it (for example, non-essential cookies); and legal obligation where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us operate — for example our connectivity platform, email, hosting and IT providers — who process it on our instructions under appropriate contracts. We may disclose information where required by law. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal or accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies needed for the site to function, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and any cookie controls we provide on the site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data; to have it corrected or erased; to restrict or object to our processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email sales@ipriver.net. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk), though we’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its “last updated” date are always shown on this page.
